Old Town Cigar Co

Old Town Cigar Co. is hoping to bring back the lost art of fine cigar smoking. We strive to provide the residents of our town, as well as tourists, with a quality hand-rolled premium cigar. Our roller has been honing his craft for over 43 years. We offer a locally blended tobacco alongside the most prestigious brands from around the world.

Owner John Stark as been a fan of cigars for 16 years. This background allows him to provide information and education on the history of cigars and cigar-smoking itself. He had been traveling a distance to purchase and enjoy his cigars and decided that there was a need in our town for a local cigar shop. That is how Old Town Cigar Co. was founded, with a desire to bring people with diverse interests and background together in a common passion.

Since opening in October, 2011, we have met such wonderful and supporting customers and friends. We provide quality cigars in all price ranges and styles for the discerning customer. We also have a lounge in which to sit back, relax and enjoy your selection. We welcome you to come by and check out our assortment of hand crafted specialties. Stay awhile and enjoy the camaraderie of old friends and make new ones. We often have the game on or perhaps just some light background music.

We are located at the intersection of Highway 50 and Highway 49, across from the Shell Gas station on Main Street in Placerville. During the summer you can find us out front on the lawn enjoying the afternoon sun and a relaxing smoke.
