Lofty Lou's Yarn Shop

Lofty Lou’s Yarn Shop opened its doors Feb. 1, 1993. When it first opened, the shop sold spinning and weaving supplies and owner Lou Anderson's hand dyed yarns. It was really fun for Lou pulling her camp stove onto the deck and dyeing her yarn outside all day.

About five years later, Lofty Lou's added knitting and crocheting supplies and equipment. Today, the shop has a large supply of yarns—about 150 different yarns! Lofty Lou's teaches knitting, crocheting and spinning. Their classes are full six days a week during the fall, winter and spring.

Celebrating 20 years in 2013, Lou loves the shop as much today as the day she opened! Come by and help Lou celebrate this great milestone for a great shop on Main Street!
