Hangtown Hot Dogs

Hangtown Hot Dogs is located in the heart of historic Placerville at 374 Main Street and is owned and operated by Tymphany Schwall, who bought the business in January 2011 and has a menu that will please everyone. While the Main Street storefront boasts only several stools and one table, don't let size deceive what it has to offer.

The menu includes all beef dogs from regular (gluten free) to monster (1/3 lb.) size as well as Veggie, Turkey Dogs and Corn Dogs. Top any of these dogs with a gourmet side of kraut, chili, bacon, cheese, guacamole, jalapeños or tomatoes. Hangtown Hot Dogs also serves Bratwurst, Polish, Hot Links and Habenero Links that are grilled to perfection. They also serve over 15 specialty dogs including the popular Chicago Dog, Bacon Swiss and Western Dogs. If you're not in the mood for a hot dog, check out their "not dog" menu that includes Tamales, Pizza, Nachos, Pretzels, Sweet Potato Fries, Garlic Fries and regular Fries.
