Bricks is so aptly named because, why else, it is constructed entirely of bricks, as are most of the buildings in historic downtown Placerville. Located at 482 Main St., within sight of the El Dorado County Courthouse, you will find many of those century-old plus buildings come alive in the edgy artwork lining our brick walls, masterfully created by local photographers Scott & Sharon Benton..

We serve lots of fun, comfort foods in a contemporary pub-like setting, with plenty of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pasta & salads. But the more serious minded eater can still get a 14 oz. center cut ribeye steak, a mammoth Normandy chop, or a beautifully crafted salmon with dill caper sauce.

Our lineup at the tap features some of the most drinkable brews around no matter how dark the color of the beer. We have an extensive "by the glass" wine list focusing on the many outstanding local wineries we are fortunate to be near, and also a full bar.
