Flower Baskets on Main Street Fundraiser
(ongoing event, 2013 and beyond)
Did you enjoy the beautiful blooming flower baskets that graced the light poles on Historic Main Street for the last few years? Would you miss this added beauty in the community if the baskets were gone? The flowers, soil and matting are ordered, planted, installed, watered (by MORE Workshop clients that are hired for the season) and maintained from May through October. The beautiful baskets cost a considerable amount of money each year, with the payment for watering them over 130 days being the biggest expense. Can you help us with a donation to keep these blooming beauties downtown? Why not sponsor a basket for the whole season ($200) or donate a smaller amount to help with the other costs (soil, plants, maintenance, etc)? We will recognize your generosity by including your name or business on our sponsor page. Click here for more info and THANK YOU for your support!
