2009 Banners on Parade! [ Titles & Artists ] [ Banner Order Form ]
This is the third year of Banners on Parade, and more importantly, the fifth year of Art on Parade in downtown Placerville.
The banners will hang until mid-October, when they will be taken down to be sold at auction at the
Art & Wine Festival on Saturday, October 17, from 6pm to 9pm in downtown Placerville. The silent auction will occur throughout the evening, with a minimum bid of $75 and increasing in $10 increments. Since the City of Placerville will not be able to help fund this event next year, we need every single dollar we can get to ensure that Art on Parade can continue.
This special book shows photographs of all 149 Placerville Art on Parade art pieces from 2005 through 2009, including all the wheelbarrows, wine barrels and banners!

We have bookmarks, magnets and posters for sale. Posters showing all the banners on one poster will be available, as well as posters of individual banners. We also will have refrigerator magnets for sale, which are approximate. 4"x 2", laminated, and with a substantial magnet on the back. These items are wonderful keepsakes or great additions to gifts for the holiday season. See the 2009 Banners on Parade brochure for pictures and names of all the banners. All orders will be available for pick-up at Annieberries prior to Thanksgiving.
There is another item for sale this year that will help our funding for next year. Bill Robinson, the official photographer for Art on Parade over the last five years, has created a book entitled Placerville Art on Parade: Five Years, which includes his photographs of each and every creation made for the past five years. Each item is beautifully photographed, in full color, and lists the Artists Name and the title of the piece. This includes pictures from the 2005 Wheelbarrows on Parade, the 2006 Wine Barrels on Parade, and 2007, 2008, and 2009 Banners on Parade projects! Bill is donating all profits from the sale of this book to Art on Parade. Please see the Banner Order Form for a detailed description of this wonderful book.
Please send your completed order form to Paige VanSickle (as listed on the order form) by September 1 to ensure timely delivery.
